Im thinking of setting up a corner bowfront. My question is does anyone have any experiance with these kits? Do they perform well? Is it worth the money vs led strips? I was thinking of these because of the tank shape. It'll be a planted tank. Thanks.

Thats the idea. Been shopping around for all my co2 equipment. Just gotta figure out the best way to plumb it all. Cost just went up because of the bigger tank so may take me a while to replan everything.luckily I can still use everything ive bought so far.

Id go with a large group of schooling fish like tetras, a pair of larger "focus" fish like gouramie or blue rams and a school of corys for the bottom. Maybe a few shrimp depending. Of course its up to your preference. Those are my favorites for freshwater tanks.

Theres always a risk especially w cichlids since a lot of them like to play in the sand. I always build a pvc support behind my rocks. I also drill holes in the rock and ziptie them together. Thats just me though. Im no expert. But ive done 5 different cichlid tanks and 4 reef tanks this way...

Im looking to build my overflow in the corner of my tank. I basically want to silicone a plastic piece in the back corner from the floor to the top w the overflow grate cut into the top. Can anyone suggest the material to build this with?

Personally I enjoy schooling fish. Tetras and barbs w some cory cats and maybe a shrimp or two. There are a lot of different species of all those w different colors. Check out some of those maybe youll enjoy those.
