    Unknown formation

Is say it's definitely some sort of a worm, I'm no expert though so I couldn't really say any more! Maybe try these links for more info? http://www.aquariumlife.com.au/showthread.php/49804-Live-Rock-Critter-ID http://www.lionfishlair.com/hitchhiker/hitchhiker.shtml...

    white hair

Hi 54seaweed, just wondering if you've had any luck with ID or getting or getting rid of this? Not sure what you've got in your tank but at a long shot maybe this is off a coral or some other critter waging major warfare? Its amazing really! I've never seen anything like it!

    Help me brits

I only ask because there are 2 places near me that always have LR in stock but depending on your specific area could well be too far out for you. I'm sure I have the address for what was a decent place not far from the city centre though? I'll see if I can dig it out for you :)

    Fish disappearing?

I'd say you've definitely found the remains of your crab there and not the moult! I really feel for you, can't imagine anything worse than losing everything in such a short space of time!

    Hi guys!

I feel I should add that neither of my Betta's ever showed aggression towards any of tank mates.in fact, it seemed to always be the poor betta's on the receiving end of fin nips!

    Help with clownfish

I would say it's all down to your Clown being territorial and leave the dottyback where it is. My clowns showed all of this behaviour when young, 10 years later the make is sadly dead but the female still regards the space behind a certain power head as her "patch".......she has always slept...

    Aloha!

Just to add, both of my betta's (I had that tank for 5 years, I obviously replaced one male after the first passed away) happily swam around large pieces of bog wood that provided lots of caves/overhangs and the tank was heavily planted :)

    Aloha!

Hi EAIB, first of all let me say that I am also new to this site and although I have a reef tank I started with freshwater and I hate to see the terrible conditions that most betta's are kept in! As a child it would break my heart and I always wanted to "rescue" all of them so it is so...

    New here

Hi mudbucket72 I'm new as well! :) I started off with freshwater but trust me, you will never look back after starting your first reef tank! I've had mine for 10 years now and trust me, it's a roller coaster. But it's a bloody fun one! :)

    Hiya!! :)

    Help identifying pink thing

Definitely not coralline algae! I would guess at flat worm or some sort of nudibranch? Most likely flat worm but it's hard to tell with just a picture of the underside

    Cucumber? Worm?! Hitchhiker.....

My tanks been running for 10 years now and it's only now after a recent relocation and two new additions (1 frogspawn coral and 1 zoa frag that melted away) that I have discovered this!! I must add that I found "it" after 12 months of the new additions after yet another re-scape. Any ideas guys?

    Fish disappearing?

Just wondering what other inverts you have? I experienced a few "mysterious" disappearances a few years ago, turned out to be my rather large brittle star. I actually witnessed it grab a perfectly healthy green chromi
