    Mixed cichlid setup (3ft)

I got three fish to start with then a week or so later I got a couple more. I did not get them all at one time. It should be perfectly fine to get a couple here and there. I'm not done stocking mine. My end goal is going to be around 12-15 fish.

I have a 55 gallon Mbuna tank. 48" long x 13" deep x 21" tall. Most people will recommend atleast a 48" long tank but 42" should suffice. I have several different species of mbuna in my tank and I do not do the 1:4 male to female ratio. I have a mostly male tank from what I can tell so far. I...

The start of my new 55

I'm not so worried about the 30 it's going to be empty for a while. My stock I'm just going to do a mix of mbuna that I decide I like. I know 100% a yellow lab will be in there, a Pseudotropheus socolofi, an albino socolofi, an ob zebra cichlid and possibly two jewels.

The start of my new 55

The glass door does have a curtain but I have a toddler so I have to keep the curtain up so she doesn't pull on it. I could switch it with my 30 then it wouldn't be by a window. I hadn't even considered that or the deer head. Thanks for the heads up!

I was so glad my LFs had those. They only cost $4 so I bought quite a few for my other tank also.
