malawi and a peacock did not know it made a difference and orange zebra and a blue cobalt

any clues what would be the best I could give them :lol: so far been feeding them on tetratec pellet food which they like and the aquarian flake ??

my yellow malawi has got some dark markings around his mouth area whats this all about ?? had them before and it has cleared but its back should I worry ?????

hi guys got 2 of blue cobalt blue zebra malawi no zebras stripes on him , but the small one has zebra stripes on him or her it keeps hiding all the time any clues :oops: how can i find the sex out they are about the same age got pictures but can't rar it or zip it and it says that only so...

is salt necessary in a chichlid tank? if so what kind

hi guys got a mother in a tank with 9 babies about 3/4 inch long now,the problem is the mother decided to take a hold of one of them and has been holding the baby in her mouth for about 3 days now,is this normal?or will the baby die because its not getting fed :(

how about some snails would that help ?? and what kind ??

no will just keep the small one for babies,they seem to grow quite fast in there my local fish store sells them for £6 a piece and he said to me that he will exchange fish or give me credits ?? will have to wait and see what he has in mind would live plants get rid of the algae got some today ??

yes I have it blocked off like you say, live plants not sure about because the fish is chichlids they dig them up :)

yes the tank is near the window, I have no choice thats the only place in the kitchen,other rooms have other tanks in it :) the light stays on for about 12 hours,

yes I know but what I mean is transfering the fish from 7.4 to 8 will the difference in ph not put the fish into shock or anything ?????
