    Stocking 180l (47.5g) Tank

I think you should take out one of the smaller schooling species. Perhaps the cherry barbs.

I would recommend at least 6. I love rainbows and keep many species so just ask if you have any other questions.

10 Gallon Starter Community Tank Mates

If you were to get guppies, I would recommend more females than males. For 3 guppies you should get 2 females and one male. The gourami should probably be fine. Swordtails can grow larger than most people know (Their bodies alone excluding fins can get to 4 inches) so they would outgrow a 10...

Upgrading to 60 Gallon - Stocking Advice

How about boesemani rainbows? Or any other rainbow species such as reds, turquoise, etc.

    55 Gallon Stocking Help

I disagree with otocinclus being with the rest of that stock list. They prefer a little bit colder water, and most of those other species such as dwarf cichlids prefer warmer water. The water will also need to be kept cold enough for the cories, however.

    Nerite Snail Eggs?

They don't do anything harmful and eventually just disappear. There's no point in wasting your time to get rid of them.

New 125 gallon tank owner, looking for advice on fish compatibility

Most 'semi aggressive' fish do not do well with 'community' fish. Things like small tetras and guppies would be eaten. Koi also wouldn't work with anything on that list as they grow very large and are cold water fish. Rainbow sharks, bala sharks, angelfish, and pictus catfish could probably work.

    55 Gallon Stocking

You would still have lots of room in that tank! Why not add a school of rainbowfish such as boesemanis or turquoise? A 55 is a good size tank for them and they are really bright and colourful.

    Chocolate chip star

Ok thanks. I wouldn't have any coral or other stationary inverts anyway.

Can/will a chocolate chip sea star go after inverts such as hermits, peppermint shrimp, or emerald crabs if it is well fed?

    Introducing Crabs to Aquarium

Crabs ripping off a limb from another crab isn't rare. My red claws do it to each other. Sometimes it can mean that they are hungry, though.

Stocking my 54 gallon corner tank

I love your idea for boesemani rainbows, but just be cautious with the gouramis and guppies, as there's been a few occasions where gouramis will attack the guppies. Why not add another small species of rainbow? Rainbows go really well with each other so I would suggest neon dwarfs.

I would also suggest a dwarf crayfish, or a large group of Thai micro crabs and cherry shrimp would also be cool.

    Introducing Crabs to Aquarium

I keep red claw crabs and 1 vampire crab, as well as fiddler crabs in the past. The vampire crab spends 90% of its time on land, and they need pure freshwater. No salt. Also, it is with a large variety of fish that it has never tried to hurt. They're really cool pets, but just make sure that...

    75g Tank Setup Help

You should go with a bunch of different kinds of rainbowfish. Some grow a bit larger and make great centrepieces, while other smaller species look good in large groups. Some colourful ones are boesemani, neon dwarf, turquoise, red, yellow, and parkinsoni.

    Starting a fiddler tank

I used to have fiddler crabs (now I just have red claws and 1 vampire) and they were very cool. They do need a fair amount of both heated brackish water and dry land areas, and they also like to dig. If possible, to allow them to dig you could add lots of sand in the land area so they can dig a...
