    Stocking

    So I got a 42 gallon bowfront and it's almost done cycling. I plan on rehoming my 7 corys to that one and getting a few angels, but who else should I put in there? I'm debating on some gouramis or German blues. Maybe moving my brisltle nose? Let me hear your thoughts. Thank you

    Ammonia levels spiked, reduce feeding times?

    So I noticed a strong stench this morning and I did an ammonia test. It had spiked up to 5ppm. Out of pure fear I did a 50% PWC and gravel vaced my substrate. I guess my question is did I do the right thing, and could I have done something else or better. I'm still really new to all of this...

    Milky filter

    So I haven't had my aquarium for long(a little over 2 weeks) and today when I was doing a water change I noticed some weird looking milk substance from the black sponge in the filter. Is this normal/ or safe? If not is there anything I can do?
