    Dwarf gourami bubblenest

My local store has both, and it sells them in pairs- I presumed that's how they'd be happiest. He seems to have stopped building now but he hangs about the nest quite a bit. I don't think any of the other fish are injured, and they are mostly staying in the plants.

    Dwarf gourami bubblenest

He is chasing her more now. Will destroying the nest help with that or not? I don't think I've got enough space for another couple of females. I might have to get rid of one of my gouramis :(

    Dwarf gourami bubblenest

My male dwarf gourami has just started building a bubblenest in the corner of the tank. As fascinating as it is, I'm a beginner and I never intended to breed my gouramis. Dwarf gouramis fighting

Can someone just confirm for me that it is a female? (pictures above) Also the fighting has calmed down quite a bit now. He only goes after her when she comes right up to him, and he doesn't actually chase her once she's moved away. They're both eating well and seem to be ok. Is it possible that...

    Dwarf gouramis fighting

I have two dwarf gouramis which I think are a male and female. They've been together in the tank for nearly a month now (the female was first) and were going really well, both swimming around the tank and not bothering each other at all. Recently though the male has started chasing the female...
