I haven't got round to buying frozen food, but I have tried to swap the females but the male just attacks the new one and shd has actually developed a white long spot on her head and seems petrified :( :( :( Should I swap them over again?

I am feeding them flakes and dried worms. I have two tanks but can't put them side by side :( I am not absolutly sure they are male and female, I was told so. But I do have a female on the other tank, shall I swap the females? Thanks again!

Hi thanks for your reply! Answering your questions: I didn't sepparate them They've been in the tank for 10 days She does not look plump There do kind of circle each other and show the fins etc. I thought the might not fight as they where born at the same time... Maybe that is just silly tho

Hi all I bought a breeding pair from a private home. I put them in a tank, no filter and fliating plants. There gave been plenty of bubble nests, but mo eggs for over a week... I wonder when do I just give up and turn the filter back on? It is also making me doubt if they are actually male and...

I have very active Danios and doing one feed a day, I put food next to the current from filter so it gets spread straight away, even the shrimp at the bottom gets some! Kione

So together with the gouramis I bought two mora Danios as I only had 3, now the Danios are at each other, specially one of them pestering the others and they seem stressed. What can I do?? Thanks. Kione

Pets at Home on the Isle of Man is horrid. Dead fish in the tank and in one tank the other fish were eating the dead one who had no eyes already. Truly disgusting, my stomach turns just thinking about it :( Kione

So I bought 2 today, they are doing great with other tank mates, but they spend a long time sucking on the surface! I know this is normal at the start of their lives to develop the labyrinth organ, so are they doing this because they are juveniles? Or could there be some water parameter...

Oh the tank is temperate and the loach is doing great :) I have been told that I can warm the water one degree a day, so the my loach wouldnt be ok? I am going to move them to the 60l tonight, but still temperate water while I continue my research Kione

Oh and my sucker is a butterfly loach, they don't grow much and are peaceful. Kione
