This is a little off topic of retro fit kits. But I have a MH sys that is a total of 542w. The halide bulbs are 175w each. Is it possible to use 150w bulbs in this sys? I do not want to ruin my ballast.

Thanks to you all. I have it all figured out now. That is a Condy and i was able to pick up an lta for the price of the condy so all is well. :)

Thank you. The person at the LFS said it was a long tentacle anemone and i was charged for one. The Condy is much cheaper.

This is as good a pic as i can get of the base.

As far as i can tell the foot is light brown to tan in color. It has attached to a live rock and it is hard to get a good look at the foot.

It has been 7 weeks give or take a day or two. I have put the fish back in the main tank. And so far so good. Everyone seems to be happy.

Update.. It does feel slick or slimy. And it does have some small air bubbles on it. It is only on that one piece of LR. And the crabs and snails seem to be eating some of it. And now the big ?. How do i get rid of it?

I have this fuzzy red stuff growing on one of my LR,s and a little bit in the subsrate. I know without a pic it will be hard to identify, but could someone maybe try. I will try and get a pic. TIA
