Non fish related pics

Well I have 5 convicts in my tank 2 females, out of the 5 I bought...but I have had them for around 3 months and no fry....there must be something wrong with my water....They do a lot of digging, and I know the 2 couples have paired off, but no eggs what so ever

Is there anyway I can get my convicts to start eating live food, or do they not usually do that? If they do eat live food, which fish would be good to use?

what do you suggest to help get the algae in the tank then? A larger pleco, or nothing at all?

Has anyone ever had a problem keeping them together? I have about 5 convicts, and 1 small (2 1/2 inch) pelco in my 29 gal tank. I woke up this morning and saw he was all tore apart, it's really bad, but he is still alive. The only other fish I have in the tank are 5 black fin tetras and I'm sure...

If that was to me, I have 5 black fin tetras and a pleco in my 29gal tank.. P.S.-the fish in question (a male or female?) Still hasn't gotten any color on it. The other to convicts are definitley male, but this one jsut dosen't have the color. It's really confusing me

Well...what a suprise....They don't seem to bother the other fish, an occasional grab at the fin, but nothing other then that...

They are transparent but have a brownish tint to them. Some have a large brownish dot in the middle of them, possibly the organs or what not? I have a feeling they are the look a like of the ghost shrimp because I'm positive those neons were fine when I put them in the water...All 5 of them have...

I looked up a picture of the Macrobrachium...That may be what I have...Because I have one that is starting to get fairly large over 2 1/2 inches, and I didn't think Ghost shrimp got to be that large? Maybe they do...Are the Macrobrachium more aggressive?

Maybe I got a bad batch of neon tetras because I only have two left, I have seen 2 of the shrimp eating eating 2 of the tetras, and I have no idea where the other one is... :?
