I've only ever done fish in. You just have to monitor water quality. Don't pick sensitive fish, very lightly stocked. Use prime and aquarium salt to reduce toxicity. It can be done well, or badly. Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

Ok, this morning, like magic, water parameters were testing perfect! Ph 8 Ammonia 0 Nitrite 0 Nitrate 10 No fish casualties! Fish- in cycle complete!!! Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

OK thanks. It's driving me crazy!!!! But my ammonia is 0. In terms of stocking, I've been in such a state about the nitrites, I haven't even really thought about the "fun" stuff. I was thinking about possibly Kenyi, Red Zebra or Cobalt Blue Zebra, some more Auratus females, maybe Acei?

Yes. Test 1, 100% tank water- 5ppm, bright purple Test 2, 50% tank water- 2-5 ppm, still bright, but not as bright. Test 3, 25% tank water- .25-.5 ppm, light blue to light purple What do you advise? This is after doing a 75% water change 24 hours previously.

Nitrites still high. Doing all the water changes needed to keep them down for fish, but the next day, they're always right back up there again, 5ppm. Are all these water changes stalling my cycle? Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice
