1.5gallon stocking

Hey, picked I have a 25gallon and a 15 gallon in my room right now. My parents said that's all they are letting me to keep. but I picked up a 1.5gallon kit at a yardsale for 2 bucks because that barley even counts as a tank!

Long story short I need stocking ideas. Tank Will be lightly planted....as planted as a 1.5 gallon can get Probably some short java ferns and dwarf hair grass or pygmy sword chain.... I know I cant fit a lot in there but Im thinking about breeding assassin snails...Would that work in such a small tank?

OR keep it simple with a beta and snail

OR a small breeding tank for shrimp.... Anything but RCS since I have quite a few in my 25.

OR Something else you suggest

The betta and snail would be a good option for the 1.5 and in fact might be the best option. You could try some shrimp but that is very dependent on the individual betta if he will kill them or not.

Sorry for not being clear, I ment the Betta and snail or just shrimp, not betta

I could be wrong but an ellassoma evergladei would be ok in a tank of that size
