10 gallon - washing in dishwasher

Is it on to wash an aquarium in the dishwasher if I don't use soap of course?

I wouldn't do it. First of all, I don't think you could get it to fit. Secondly, I'd worry about it shifting around during the cycle and possibly getting stress fractures. Thirdly, you can't convince me that a dishwasher contains absolutely no soap residue.
