No not really in my experience its how u feed and acclimate the fish u introduce to the tank I have been lucky besides the grouper I had he ate everything
 
Lucky! I love the trigger fish but it says totally not reef safe so I wasn't gonna try it.
 
Right now I'm in the process of switching everything over from my 29 to my 90 gallon then I get to start adding more fish :)
 
I got it all. I'm doin my final WC to get my nitrates down then addin stuff. :)
 

Your tank is really nice!! I saw that you live in St. Cloud. I used to live in Minnetonka. :) moved to MI about 10 years ago. BTW, a couple of conchs would have that sand cleaned up in no time.
 
Ill look into that but just put a new skimmer in but thanks a lot going to upgrade tho to a 200 gallon very soon so the sand will be in the dumpster lol
