So i found a great deal on a 20 gallon metal frame aquarium for 10 bucks.

Buuuttt the owner says it only holds about an inch of water. He also says its caulked?
do you think its worth picking up, and seeing if its worth trying to fix?
Need some help from the pros!
Thanks,
Mack

Definitely worth picking up, that's a great price for a 20 gallon! I paid $20 for just a 2.5 gallon!

The metal frame tanks are cool and very nostalgic to me personally, but if there is no emotional tie to them skip it and head to Petco and buy a new one for $20.

Yeah I agree now. It isn't worth fixing, and they have the $1 per gallon sale going on now so it's a good time to buy!

Those are the tanks we had in the late 50's and 60's and the one thing I remember most is my father having to reseal them off and on. It's a very unique item but I'd skip it personally.

Alright thanks guys, I guess ill have to pass it up if it will be time consuming and will have to be done often. I guess i just have a soft spot vintage stuff! Thanks again,
Mack
