My mom is probably getting a 56 column so I get the 26! I am going to do this heavily planted but low light low tech. I have some great ideas and am going to need help! So please read and advise! Here is what I want to do:
I have a rock formation that will come from my 20 tall to this. Im thinking Im going to put it close to center. I want to get a piece of driftwood. a small piece that i want to attach baby tears to. I will put some jungle vals in one corner. I think I might do 1 anubis but we will see :) I want to do some small grassy looking plants in the forground but not sure which ones are good for the light (suggestions?) I may also do a moss..... Here is another thing. i would love to have either a cabomba or rotalo (sp?) forest but am not sure it would live in the light. Maybe a java fern in a front corner...
So plans are to keep the tank at about 78. It has an aqueon 30 filter (will soon be a fluval c4 hopefully) that i will make cartridges for so that I dont have carbon in it. NO CO2!!!!! the light is what came standard on the aqueon strater kit. Its a colormax bulb (probably wont work) so question: buy a t5 fixture or just get a daylight bulb for this one? The tank is deep....
So anyway please advise me and help me with my questions above! This is going to be sweet! Also Im not sure it is significant but I will be using pool filter sand.
Thanks in advance and God bless!

Does the fish I add make a difference to the plants? Or how many I add?
