Back story:
I decided to add 3 German Blue Rams to my 29 gal tank today. I asked for 3 females. The guy at the store said the Blue Rams they have are still fairly young and hard to sex. Being new to aquarium fish I left it up to guy at the aquarium store to try and pick out the females. After I got them home and in the tank I realized all 3 were males. I should have really researched how to sex German Blue Rams before I bought them, lesson learned.

Question:
Is it OK to have 3 male German Blue Rams in a 29 gal tank if no female is present? Or should I just have a male female pair?

There was fighting between all 3 of them when I first put them in. They seem to have chilled out for now. They are in the tank with 7 black phantom tetras.

If it's three males they should be just fine as there are no females to fight over. It's once you add a female that a couple will pair off and bully the third or others.
