About ready to start stocking my new tank, but need help! I have a 36 gallon bowfront with an aquaclear 70 filter.
It am building a tank for my 2.5 year old toddler, so I would like peaceful fish that are fun to watch and will keep the attention of a toddler!
It has fire truck decor at the moment and not many fake plants and a fake stone bridge. I do not plan on live plants at this time, but it may be a possibility once I get all fishes in order(and I can hide more fish purchases from hubby!)
Some fish I like:
Cardinal tetra
Green neon tetra
Mickey Mouse platy or similar
Dalmatian Molly
Otoclinus - do these only like planted tanks? I don't want to starve them with my fake plants!!
Dwarf gourami -my LFS doesn't carry them often unless they are guaranteed virus free, so another choice?
I think I need more fish, but I don't know what else will work well or if these will even work together! Advice and stocking numbers are appreciated!
