New to hobby, first saltwater tank. Received 75 gallon for Christmas. Water change rate 10 gallons per week. Adding 1 teaspoon of phyto feast everyday, feeding tank variety of food-flakes, sinking pellets, mysis shrimp, oyster feast, and prawn roe.

3 damsels
1 hippo tang
2 clowns
1 diamond goby
1 flower pot
1 tube anemone
1 sea apple
2 clams
2 fire shrimp
1 torch coral
1 frog spawn
2 coco worms
Polyps
10 hermit crabs
10 turbo snails
10 nassarius
1 sandsifter
1 orange starfish
1 cabbage coral
2 mushroom
1 brain coral
88lbs rock
110lbs of sand

Many questions so let me try this one. What can I get that will remove algae from sand at base of tube anemone? Goby will not go near anemone. It is the only algae on the sand in my tank.

Beautiful tank! Try Astraea snails for that algae. If it's not much just start cutting the lights earlier for awhile or check for phosphates in your water. Also be forewarned: you may hear an earful from the "Tang Police" for keeping a hippo in a 75. Nice tank though!

More of an issue on what critter is willing to go near tube anemone, no algae elsewhere.

Hi, +1 to checkin the phosphates. A little algea isn't gonna hurt your tank, doesn't have to be spotless.

Is everyone having trouble uploading pictures to the server via iPhone. I keep receiving a remote server error.

and you might show respect to the people you asked advice from.

Great looking tank. I can't wait till I get a reef tank set up.

May be time to move over to another site if uploading a picture continues to be an issue.
