6gal stocking advice

Hi folks,

I have a Fluval Edge 6gal tank fully cycled and it is doing great. I have 3 platies and 3 neon tetras. I was thinking in putting 2 more neons. I do 25% water changes every week and I have a couple of live plants in there. What do you think? Is it pushing it over the limit? Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

I think a 6 or even 10 gallon is too small for neons, they're too active for small tanks.

Agreed. Even the Platys should have more room, they can be active and are a bit messy plus if they breed they're going to overrun the tank. Neons should be in a 20 gal+ due to their activity level. IMO you're fully (if not over) stocked now.
