I have a 75 gallon freshwater tank with a couple of random fish right now. I would like to do something really cool with my tank. Any ideas on plants, fish, decor, substrate? I want cool looking fish or stuff. Any help is appreciated. Pics welcomed.

Dense planting is unrivaled in beauty if its done well.its up to you.maybe you like neon and bright I don't know. Just go with your gut

What about fish? And what kind of plants? Substrate?

Here's a list of cool fish but there expensive and aggressive but not all are

Knife fish
Oscars
Large catfish like red tailed cats
Any large cichlid
Schooling fish like large schools of neon tetras and rasboras as well as Congo tetras and sharks are dazzling

Cool plants
Banana plants(google them there cool)
Anubias
Cryptocorynes
Marimo or moss balls
Java fern and plants that grow on logs

Substrate depends on the fish I prefer black or natural colors for this

Decor
Rock work and driftwood as well as the more natural looking man made objects are cool too

Google 'aquarium landscaping', saw one link titled 'completion '. They had some amazing tank pics
