I recently planted bacopa, cryptos, and dwarf hairgrass in my tank, how long do they take to take root and not be "planted" im wondering because a water change is coming up and i dont want to upset it much, also i have 2x25 watt bulbs, what lighting schedual should i have? 12/12 on/off or other suggestions?
Thanks once again!

The crypt and hairgrass should have roots and stay down, the bacopa will root in a week or two. If it comes unplanted while changing water just replant it. You can diffuse the water going back in with your hand or pour into a plate or bowl set in the tank.

Now that the tank is planted, you won't want or need to do deep gravel vaccuming anyway.

Kind of random, but, what kind of algae eating fish would work with a male betta?
