Hello,
I have a few quick questions. I'm going to be moving my 55 gal medium planted tank into a 75 gal tank. I'm going to be saving almost all the water in the process. I will have eco complete now in the 75 gal.
1. Do I still need to use root tabs for my amazon plants.
2. How do I remove the Black Beard algae that I have on a few of my plants.
Can I spray Peroxide on them before the transfer to the new tank?

Thank You

Amazon swords? They're root feeders so saving the water won't be of any real benefit.

My understanding is that plants inevitably use up all the nutrients in aqua soils at some point but that using root tabs can help slow that down a little.

Siamese Algae Eaters will go after black brush algae and H2O2 will also help.
