ADF and ick/ich!

Okay, so my family had a tank and we bought a fish from meijer to add to it and BAM...an ich outbreak.

The few fish died and I'm left with an african dwarf frog and a new tank. I did EVERYTHING right with this tank to make sure it was started up good with no cloudiness/good bacteria.

I havent treated the frog with an medicine because I'm not even sure if it can get ich and I've read conflicting stories online.

My question is...can it get ich. And if not, is it safe to just take a net and move him to my new tank....or could he have ich on him?

African dwarf frogs will not contract ich, but they may be react to medications adversely.
