My aquarium has finally cycled and all parameters are great. The only problem I had was still cloudy, algae water. I finally purchased a uv sterilizer and it was the best thing I have purchased for the tank. The water is now crystal clear. My question is can I just leave the uv light on or turn it off? :thanks:

Best to create a schedule for when it runs or turn it off till you feel you need it.

UV lights will destroy themselves (wear out) over time and they are also extremely hard on the plastics that surround them for 90% of UV lights out there. The UV will slowly eat through cheap plastic.
