Advice on native Mn fish

Hi me and my cousin were looking for a crayfish when we found this eel looking fish so we caught it and i put it in my 20 gallon tank i had laying around after i did some research i found out it was an eelpout my question is what do they eat and will it survive in a tank with 5 rusty crayfish?

I'm not to sure but I think eelpouts may get too large for a 20 gallon
