So guys what do you think ? I know normally they dont have plants. But this tank is in my living room and the wife didn't like it looking too plain?

I agree. Looks good!

Yes, plants don't typically work out well in an AC tank, a lot of hobbyists find that there being uprooted all of the time can be very aggravating, but it looks as though you have them anchored fairly well with your larger rocks.
 
I've never had any of my plants uprooted. I put plants in the tank because I couldn't stand it looking so bare, but I fully expected to find them floating at the water's surface. My cichlids will dig holes everywhere, but never around the plants. Go figure.

Your tank looks really good. The pot is pretty cool looking in there. Steer clear of the Mbuna which may snack on your plants.
