Are Ahli top swimmers? Young ahli spends most of his time up top and just worries me he's unhappy. I would hate to have him die from something that can be easily changed.

What size tank, and what other fish?

He's in a 60 with 5 labs and 3 acei. Hungry dude too.

The Lab's should be fine, but acei are very active swimmers. Really better off in a larger tank, and their constant activity may be an issue for the ahli. For that matter a 60 gallon tank is barely big enough for 1 ahli, they are a good-size fish when mature. Dwarf mbuna are a better option for a 4' tank.

The Ahli and Acei really need a 6' tank because of size and activity levels.
