Hey all! my new 20 gallon is going well, but i want a good algae eater. I currently have otos, which i love, in my 25. I want something with less bioload, and more interesting. Im thinking cherry or amano shrimp. can anyone give me their opinions, and PM me any info on them? thanks. also would they be good subs for the otos?

Wait, actually can i keep a cherry shrimp and an amano shrimp in the same tank? if so, will they school together?

Yes you can. And I don't think they school...as they are shrimp. They should each be going about their own business searching the substrate for food. And you don't have to worry about interbreeding because amanos need brackish for their larvae to survive. And shrimp are interesting to watch. Too bad my angels killed mine :(
