Amazon sword black hairs

There are black hairs on my amazon sword plant and also on my filter, what are they and are they a problem

Pic isn't clear but it could be bha black hair algae. Usually attributable to high nitrayes

It appears to be bba and increasing co2 levels can help rid this algae.

Yep definitely bba. Sometimes this is caused by a nutrients imbalance in the tank. Just make sure you aren't overfeeding your fish.
