Hello! Yeah amazon swords need root tabs btw, I use AquariumPlants line of root tabs. They love extra phosphate and iron. Once reason why mine are out of control mine are almost reaching the top of my 60g!

Everyone's tank is different. I don't use root tabs and my swords have reached the surface of my 125. They really just require a very heavy nutrient rich substrate; if you don't have that - tabs may be of interest.
