Ammonia up

Recently (1 week) ago, I had some fish die of ich my tank has been treated and now I only have 2 tiger barbs (Getting more soon, don't worry) and my ammonia levels went from 0 to 2.0. I think a mini-cycle has started. I don't know how my levels got that high and don't know if there's any way of lowering it besides letting it cycle again. I have done a couple of 50% pwc's. help please!

You did something it looks like its going to cycle again. Now you'll be doing a fish in cycle so don't add more fish till your deafng are right. Water changes after water changes is about all you can do
