Anacharis and quarantine?

Not sure if this is in the right forum.

I just bought some anacharis and would like to quarantine it to make sure it's parasite/disease free. Would it do fine for a couple weeks in a bucket/pot with dirty tank water and some fish food in there as long as there's enough light?

No need to ... just dip it in Hydrogen Peroxide for 15-20 seconds and then run it under normal tap water. Between the Peroxide and chlorine in the tap ... any pathogens, parasites and even snails should be taken care of.
