annoying noise?

Hey i just bought a sump set it up but the when the water enters the sump it makes a loud splashing noise. Is their anyway to reduce this?

how do you have the outlets plumbed are they below the water? is it the tank drain makign the sound or the sump

That's what's making the sound when the water hits the white filter

You can add a short section of the grey flex pipe to the bottom of the black coupling in the pic, inside the sock. Its a bit of a PITA to plug it in with the sock in place, but will eliminate the splashing.
