Any snail experts?

Caught this snail in Miami fl. Any ideas on what it is? I'm probably going to throw it back but just wondering.

its a nassarius snail, they are great for stiring sand and detris control

that looks to me to be a whelk. a predatory snail. he would probably have eaten your other snails.
