What type of lighting is required for this plant? Is it a fast grower?

Ok. I'm running a dual T5 normal output on my 55g but also have floating plants. Will it work with this setup?

That's going to give you a low light level over your tank. I have dual t5ho over my 55g. If it's tall enough and near the light it might do okay but those floating plants are probably not helping any.

I agree with mebbid. Its a great plant once you get it established.

Medium light, ferts, and co2, and it grows like crazy.
