Just bought some aquaone phospad to keep my phosphate under control anyone ever used them and are they any good

Just bought some aquaone phospad to keep my phosphate under control anyone ever used them and are they any good

Never used it so I can't really say. I know people that have used the deepblue pads though with success. They did this in conjunction with water changes and determining the real issue.

My advice is to find out why your phosphates are high, the pads will only mask the real problem.

More frequent water changes, maybe over feeding?

Yes it's just a temp measure I've only got a fluval u4 filter and getting an external and a skimmer on next week just wondering if they would effect my fish or shrimp thanks for advice much appriciated
