Aquarium Stand DIY

I have a 48x20x19. The question I have is…. Can I make the stand longer? Width is fine. I was wanting to know if I went with a larger aquarium later… All input is appreciated!! (Freshwater) ???

However long you make it, you "need" to have support under the tank or it could collapse.

Sure you can make it longer. Just provide the correct support under it and you should be OK
