Please help! I noticed this morning that they were chasing each other all over the tank and swimming very closely. What do I do? :( Should I be prepared for a fry?

Dannios spawn every morning when sum comes out (if the water conditions are correct) in most of the cases yes that's why this fish is the easiest to breed, they lay eggs so when the male chase the female and they swim around close to each other then they are definitely spawning, separate the eggs and keep same water conditions with sponge filter (DIY washing sponge + air pump) would do the trick this is because adult fish will eat their fry, grow them separate and feed them with fine grounded flake food or better source like micro worms

Unfortunantly, you are not able to sell the fry. So you will either need to upgrade your tank, or give them to someone with a proper tank. That is, if you save some fry :)
