assassin snail breeding?

Is it possible that assassins can breed in a normal community tank with no special circumstances? Ive had 2 for the past 5 months and this morning ive noticed 3 baby ones? Is this odd or not really?

im pretty sure they can,they just dont breed very often.

Yeah I was under the impression they were quite hard to breed. I feel lucky lol

No they dont need special needs. I started out with 4 and I think now Im up to 14 with more eggs about. Time to make some money off the excess snails I have, since some LFS sell them over here for ridiculous prices, P&P excluded.

nah,they just breed slow.
