Hello all,
I have a 10 gallon planted tank with 5 guppies, a small silver tetra, and a cory catfish. At one point after I bought a plant, I had a pretty big problem with snails. I did some research and decided to get assassin snails. The guy at the store said they are kind of difficult to breed, so Iwasnt really expecting babies.
I bought 4 of them, and I can very rarely find more than 1 or 2 at a time, but recently everytime I find one it is attached to another one. And, today, underneath one of the rocks (my substrate is rocks) against the glass is a very small assassin snail.
They've killed off all the the other snails, so they are living off of the food I throw in the tank.
So, my question is, am I about to have an explosion of these? Will the cory eat some of the eggs? How many is ok to keep in a 10 gallon tank?
Thanks!
