Hi,

New member first time posting (sorry if in the wrong category)

Today I was watching my fish and noticed a baby! I am unsure of where it came from or what it is. Can anyone please help identifying?

In my tank I currently have:
• 4x gourami
•2x Plec
• 2x silver shark
•2x red tail shark
• 1x angel
• 4x loaches (only seen one in the past week)
• 2x synodontis

I have put said baby in the breeder box but unsure what to feed him/her.

Welcome! And the picture isn’t loading on my phone for some reason. What size tank is it? Seems like a lot of fish

Edit: Unfortunately I am not able to display the original image in this post, however, i was able to see it. Perched in a stand of java moss is a damselfly larva. It is white, slender with visible legs. It is an aquatic insect, a predator, and is a threat to smaller fish and invertebrates.

Just looked and it does match a damsel fly larvae. The plants have been there for over 12 weeks but it must of hitchhiked a ride.

Thank you all for the help.
