my Electric Blue Ram Cichlid is bothering my bala shark by chasing him around and nipping at him. I don't want the shark to get hurt so whats the problem?

How big is your tank? If its small enough for one fish to cause a problem its probably to small for a bala shark. Rember they need a 6" long and 18" wide tank minimum.

Well than the answer is to rehome. Sorry, I'm trying to rehome mine in a 55 gallon to a 125g plus. And its 7". Half of what it will be.
