balloon mollie dead???

i hav 2 mollies and 1 cory in my tank. (one normal molie and one balloon mollie) iv had them for about a week and a half now, and they were all doung great my one mollie and cory would always eat exitedly and they always had energy but were also calm. but my balloon mollie would normally just hover on one spot and would eat the fish flakes but then just spat them out. she started floating upwards. like with her tail to the sky and it looked like she was dieing, so i put my hand in the water and she went back to normal. she dis this alot, and finily one morning i found her dead in the same tail-to-the-sky position. does anyone know what may have happened? will it hurt my other fish? thanks i just want to provent it from happening in the future.

Ballon mollies

The ballon mollies are deformed and it causes them to have poor health. It is best to just stick with normal mollies. Good luck!

Because ballon mollies have been bred to be deformed they are more susceptible to disease and poor water conditions. Did you cycled the tank before you added the fish? What are the parameters? (Ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and pH?)
