Has anyone put bamboo in their tanks, and if so is it completely submerged?

If your referring to lucky bamboo, i don't think it's aquatic so completely submerged it wouldn't thrive ... At least that's what happened in my 75gal. When I moved them to my son's old 10gal, they were tall enough that the tops would be out of water and they did much better.

It will die completely submerged. The leaves need to be kept out of the water but the stocks can be submerged. I have 3 long stocks in my 125 gallon with the leaves out the top and they look very nice. They grow slow but steady.
