??Banggai cardinal death??

I got a Banggai Cardinal 3 weeks ago at Feeder's Supply. Yesterday it died and I have no clue why. I noticed that he seemed to be skinny so I would put in extra food. I noticed that he seemed to try to eat but somehow couldn't. I have a marine ich problem but I didn't notice any symptoms of that. I need someone's help. Why did this happen?

it could have been one of many things. most of the livestock at stores is taken right from the ocean and in many cases you can't get the fish to eat prepared foods. it's possible that it starved to death. a parasite is another possibility. illness...etc. hard to say really.
when choosing a fish at a store, i would suggest that you tell the employee that's helping you to feed it, so you are sure it's eating prepared foods.
