Beginner Plant Recs?

I havnet dont too much with life plants and I am setting up a 55 gallon tank. I was hoping for some recs for the following.

Lighting for 55 gallon.

Easy plant recs (Background and foreground).

How many of each plant I should have.

Any other recs you have.

I really appreciate any help I can get.

The tank will be a gravel substrate with a little sand. Stocking will be 1 bristlenose pleco, 2 angels, 6 corys, and 3 schools of fish.

I'd say Anubias or crypts.

Would one each of these lights be okay for a 55 gallon? I just have two regular strip hood lights that come with a standard tank kit.

If not what kind of lighting do I need for a low light beginner tank? I really cant seem to find any real answers on this :-S
