best test kit

please can anyone advise the best test kit for my FOWLR system i am very new to the hobby (about 6 months) i have been using the dip stick type but lookin on net the liquid type seem more acurate.But have seen api and another beginin with s but heard mixed reviews.Have not had any loss of fish but want too get it right so any help would be appreciated please.Thanks,: sue.

I use the api masters kit, it has always worked well for me

API is better than the test strips, but if you want something more accurate, Salifert test kits are great.

thanks for your replies yes salifert was the other one i'd heard of.for api is around £20.00 is that about the right price,not sure on pricing for salfert.thanks

I think I paid about £30 for my api master kit so sounds like a good deal to me!

Saliferts run from about $18US to $40US.

I've been switching all my kits one by one to salifert from API. I use them mostly on my $$$ SW tanks.
