Hi I have a 4 gal tank that has one beta in it. It has some colored gravel and glass balls in it. It has a small filter and a heater. I would like to put in some cherry shrimp in it. Do you think this is a good tank mate for him. I tried some tetras in the tank Not neon. They passed. The tank is designed for 2 betas it has a partition but one of them always goes into the others side. Of course one dies. Any thoughts? Thanks:fish2:

In a tank of that size a betta probably won't tolerate any tankmates. You can try shrimp but I think the betta will likely kill them. Anything else will be too much bioload for a 4 gallon tank.
