Betta breed?

Bought this guy at Petco, was sold as a Veiltail but it looks like it could be mixed with a Spade?

Also the color is a burnt orange. Have never seen this color before, have you?

Thank you if I were to buy a female for him, what color should I get? Would love to breed some more dark orange ones but I'm not sure i could find a female the same color..

Find an orange, red, or Cambodian VT female.

Mixing tail types with a VT usually ends up in regret because the fins become very messy.
